'Gappies' assist teaching academic classes, coach sports and help with homework. 'Gappies' also assist with extra-curricular activities and help with the smooth running of the school.
Do you want to spice up your CV? Becoming a school gap assistant is the ideal way to gain great work experience abroad. Plus you'll earn some spending money at the same time! As a 'gappie' you will help out at an Australian boarding school for either a 6 or 11 month placement. Assist in Aussie Schools
As a school gap assistant in Australia you'll soon become part of the school family. You'll live on campus and soon get stuck in to your 'gappie' role! You'll help kids aged between 3 and 18 to learn and enjoy a range of academic, sporting and other activities. If you have specific skills in a certain area then you can put these to good use. Share them with the kids in the classroom or on the sports field!
