Day 1: Begin in Johannesburg
Touchdown! Welcome to South Africa. Tonight, meet your new mates and grab dinner together. Let's raise a toast to all the adventures coming up!
Day 2: Hazyview and Kruger National Park
Big cliffs, turquoise lakes and emerald hills that go on forever... We're starting this morning off with scenery that'll make you say, "How is this real?" Speaking of, you'll be pinching yourself as we pull up into Kruger National Park. Get ready for your FIRST safari drive. Fingers crossed we'll spot lions!
Day 3: Kruger National Park
Rise and shine! There's cool animals to see, so grab your camo colours and binoculars. Enjoy the entire day to drive around the park. Your group leader is like a wildlife Wikipedia, so ask them anything! Round off tonight with a traditional braai barbecue, South African style!
Day 4: Kruger to Gqeberha
We're airbound, baby! Land in Gqeberha later on, a stunning beachside neighbourhood. Drop your bags, then let's go for an evening wander along the seafront. Your group leader has got the best food recommendations, and Gqeberha has you spoilt for choice!
Day 5: Jeffreys Bay and Knysna
The Garden Route is what dreams are made of. And there's no better opener than chasing waves at Jeffreys Bay. Kick today off with an early morning surf lesson. Even total beginners can become pros! Grab lunch, then speed onto Storms River. Stand on the famous suspension bridge, overlooking the rocky gorge. What a view!
Day 6: Secrets of Knysna hike
South Africa is insanely gorgeous, but you knew that already. What you don't know just yet is a paradise hiking trail that goes deep into the forest. Lace up your boots, because you're in on South Africa's best-kept secret! Enjoy a free afternoon to café-hop and shop by the waterfront, before we go out for dinner.
Day 7: Oudtshoorn and Cango Caves
Time to hit the road! Today's drive takes us to Oudtshoorn, aka the ostrich capital of the world. Head onto Cango Caves later, an underground gem dating back millions of years.
Day 8: Wine tasting and Cape Town
Have you really been to South Africa without a wine tasting? We don't think so! Sip and swirl the local wines at a stunning vineyard. Then keep the good views going on today's scenic drive. You've got the entire night to see what Cape Town's best restaurants, bars and clubs are all about. Let's go!
Day 9: Table Mountain and Cape Town
We're on top of the world! At least, that's how you'll feel this morning when you ride the cable car up to Table Mountain. Take all the photos your camera roll needs. The more, the better! You've got a free afternoon in Cape Town with your best mates, so make the most of it.
Day 10: Cape Town
Think dramatic coastlines, lush gardens, and most important of all, penguins. You've got an action-packed morning, and it doesn't end there. Tonight we're going out for one last farewell dinner, reminiscing over our favourite memories. What a trip!
Day 11: Finish in Cape Town
Our adventure in South Africa has come to an end. Pack your bags and say farewell to your new favourite country (and people, obvs). Until next time!
