Your adventure starts now! And what a stunning city to begin in. Drop your bags, meet your new mates tonight, and jump straight into Hong Kong's buzzing energy.
Day 2: Hong Kong
Best of Hong Kong, coming up! Ride the Star Ferry along Victoria Harbour, where skyscrapers meet the ocean. Take the tram to Victoria Peak for 360 views. Tonight's free for you to grab dim sum with your friends, or experience Hong Kong's famous nightlife.
Day 3: Hong Kong to Yangshuo
Our first high-speed train! Journey into rural China today, rolling into Yangshuo. Think emerald colours, high peaks and winding rivers. Visit a local village this afternoon to learn about traditional farm life.
Day 4: Yangshuo
Wake up in the countryside and enjoy the slower way of life. Bike past limestone cliffs and rice paddy stretches this morning. Switch it up with bamboo rafting this afternoon.
Day 5: Yangshuo to Zhangjiajie
Hop on another high-transfer train to the mountains of Zhangjiajie. Brave the climb of 999 steps with the most insane views up top. They don't call it the Stairway to Heaven for nothing!
Day 6: Avatar Mountains
Hands up if you're seeing the Avatar Mountains! Those floating cliffs look like another planet (Pandora, IYKYK). Your group leader has got the best recommendations for viewpoints, local hikes and more.
Day 7: Zhangjiajie to Chongqing
Another day, another destination! Tonight you'll get to explore Chongqing, famed as China's cyberpunk city. Picture neon lights and architecture built straight into the mountains. Grab a hot pot for dinner, then round off the night with Hongya Cave viewpoint.
Day 8: Chongqing
Enjoy a free day to explore Chongqing, looking like a video game in real life. Tick off Chongqing's vanishing train, or climb your way through 8D neighbourhoods. When the sun comes down, Chongqing is just getting started with rooftop bars and barbecues.
Day 9: Chongqing to Chengdu
Take it easy this morning before we head to traditional Chengdu. You're free to get lost in lantern courtyards, chill out at the century-old teahouses, or go temple-hopping with your mates. Then we have a night at the Sichuan Opera! All we'll say for now is... There's fire-breathing.
Day 10: Chengdu pandas
Ready to spot China's most iconic animal? Start bright and early for peak activity, keeping your eyes peeled for Giant pandas and Red pandas at the research centre. Enjoy the rest of today to go sightseeing in Chengdu, or party and discover its wild side (not just pandas!).
Day 11: Xi'an
All aboard for Xi'an, one of China's ancient capitals. Those fortress walls are so huge, you have to see it to believe it! Cycle along the top this afternoon, with skyscrapers on one side, history on the other. Tonight we're going to the Muslim Quarter for street food.
Day 12: Terracotta Army and Shanghai
History lovers, the Terracotta Army is for you! You'll have a local guide giving you all the details, so make sure you save it for your next pub quiz. Later on, we're going to Shanghai, China's ultimate megacity. Something to know... Shanghai never sleeps! You probably won't either tonight.
Day 13: Shanghai
Shanghai doesn't do boring! You've got a free day to explore how you want. Shop and café-hop in the French Concession. Take a dumpling crawl. Go to the Old City for culture. Tonight we'll regroup for a river cruise along the famous Bund, the neon heart of Shanghai.
Day 14: Shanghai to Beijing
It's a free morning in Shanghai, before we hop on our final high-speed train to Beijing. Grab your snacks, pop that playlist on, and we'll be in China's iconic capital before you know it. Tonight, it's time to roll up your sleeves for our dumpling-making class! Best paired with Peking duck for dinner, prepped by the pro chefs.
Day 15: Beijing's Forbidden City
Who fancies some time travel? That's how you feel today exploring the endless palaces packed inside the giant Forbidden City. Enjoy the rest of today to continue sightseeing, or go back into Beijing's city centre.
Day 16: The Great Wall of China
Saved the most iconic until last! Ride a cable car over the forest, as the Great Wall comes into full view. You'll be saying "Am I dreaming? 100 times as you hike across this world wonder. Back in Beijing, it's our final night together, so let's make it count.
